We are all the same genetically and originate from the same place (Africa) about 60,000 years ago. Race is only skin deep. Yet race continues to violently divide us. I believe through a better understanding of our origins we may find peace with our differences and have more respect for each other.
We are gratefull to our Turkish brothers and sisters for representing the Millat in Burma in these times of great test and bloodshed. Turlish PM’s wife and the foreign minister visited Burma and delievered much needed aid to the persecuted Muslims. May Allah bless Muslims in Burma and also the Turks who came to their help while the leaders of the Muslim ummah continue to betray the Ummah.
They are branded as one of the most persecuted communities in the world by the UN, yet nobody knows their name. They are the forgotten people.
Islam is a religion of peace and does not condone violence as means to impact change.
Burma has a population 75 million with the Muslim population being just 0.7 million. The Burmese Muslims have been under this affliction after 1962 when the Army usurped the power in Burma. It all started on 3rd June 2012 when 11 innocent Muslims were killed by the Burmese Army and the Buddhist mobs after bringing them down from a bus. A vehement protest was carried out in the Muslim majority province of Arakan, but the Protestants fell victims to the tyranny of the mobs and the army.
Trying to elude capture and an imminent killing; Burmese Muslims thronged to the Bangladeshi border, but all they met was dismay. The Government of Bangladesh refused to offer them asylum.
Over 500 Muslim villages have been incinerated. Thousands have been exterminated. The persecution of the Burmese Muslims at the hands of the Buddhist mobs is at its full swing. Yet all the human rights organizations have maintained a criminal silence up till now. Has the world become so callous that they remain undeterred by such genocide?
This is not a new thing or an unprecedented massacre. Muslims have been a subject to such hostility even before. Islam is a religion of peace and harmony. It doesn’t allow its followers to lay-waste any other tenet. This leaves behind a big question mark. Why are the followers of such a peaceful religion being oppressed all over the world?
The fear stricken faces of the poor Burmese Muslims really cuts one apart. The glimpse of their bruised bodies is a heart rending
spectacle. Photos of murdered women, children and babies are agonizingly incomprehensible. Where is the UN now? Why isn’t the International media highlighting this issue?
The killing of Burmese Muslims needs to stop!

Murder of children in Syria as part of the global genocide against Muslims. Let’s open our eyes and end the ignorance of what is happening around the world. Don’t let the western media dictate what you believe. You have the tools here on the internet to do your own research and find your own answers. Please let’s stop hate and violence against our fellow man. There are innocent men, women and children being slaughtered globally for one simple reason…they are Muslim and call God “Allah”. In this country (USA) we believe in freedom of religion…let’s not be hypocrites. The first step to change social injustice is knowledge. Please educate yourselves so that we have the information to have a morally correct point of view and then maybe we can help make a difference, for this is the holocaust of our time.
Described by the UN as one of the world’s most persecuted minorities, hundreds of Rohingya Muslims have been killed and over 90,000 displaced from their homes in Burma.
Residing under oppression, they are forced to endure a life of misery and abject poverty. They have had their citizenship taken away and are treated as illegal immigrants in their own country. They are experiencing forced labour, land seizures, arbitrary arrests, rape and torture, as well as having their homes and mosques attacked and burnt.
I am researching ways we can make donations to the people of Burma. This is one of the charitable organizations that I have found.

Focus: There are over 6 million people of Muslim background in Burma. About 20% inhabited in Arakan Division bordering with Bangladesh. Part of the Muslims in Arakan Division is called Rohingya Muslims, and they have been persecuted in mass during the past 2 decades. These Rohingya Muslim Refugees are welknown and helped by international Muslim Relief Organizations.
Since early 1980’s the military gvernments of Burma have started persecution on Muslims in other parts of Burma. Many Muslim villages in Karen State, Mon State and Tanassarim Division were burnt down, people were torture, killed and Muslim girls were raped. Masajids and Madarasas were destroyed. Thousands of Muslims fled to Thai border in the Karen insurgent stronghold areas. As the Karen insurgent strongholds have been occupied by the government troops in recent years, these Muslims again fled to Thailand and become refugees. There are about 30,000 to 50,000 Musli refugees in 28 Refugee Camps. Due to lack of funds MSOB could visit 2 Camps and obtained the population data and inspected their needs. They are depending on Christian Missions for their food, shelter and clothes. There are still many shortages n Islamic facilities such as Holy Quran and Islamic Books to teach the children, materials for prayer centers and mosques, electricity at the mosques, water supplies, etc. which the non-Muslim organizations cannot provide. Hitherto no outside Islamic organizations has given attention to help these Burmese Muslim refugees yet. MSOB is a newly formed organization to coordinate the international Islamic organizations to fulfil these needs.
